McFadden Wild Rice with Toasted Almonds and Dill

Ingredients
1 box McFadden Farm Wild Rice
Rinse thoroughly. Bring large pot of water to rolling boil. Add rice. Continue at full boil with lid off for 40 minutes or until grains are tender. Drain. Dress with Red Wine & Dill Vinaigrette.
Red Wine & Dill Vinaigrette:
1 shallot (minced)
1 small clove garlic (smashed with a pinch of salt)
1/2 cup of red wine vinegar
Juice 1/2 orange
Small dollop of Dijon mustard
1/4 fresh chopped dill
Olive oil
Salt n pepper, and honey to taste.

Combine ingredients to create vinaigrette.

Special ingredient and finishing instructions: 

1 handful of golden raisins
Soak handful of golden raisins in the dressing before tossing over warm rice and cool. Garnish with toasted almonds and fresh chopped dill. Serve and enjoy!
